Graham Haigh launched his insurance career in BC in 1994 after graduating from Simon Fraser and attaining his F-C-I-P and CAIB (Caeb) designations. He is a past President of the Insurance Institute of BC and an award winning instructor of its CIP program.
He joined Wawanesa in 2009 as RVP for BC & Yukon, and then moved on to lead the central region in 2015. He’s been in the role of Vice President, Broker Distribution since 2019.

Syd Roe is a passionate advocate for brokers, or independent agents in the states. From working inside the family agency to working her way through the association world, she’s seen the broker channel from all angles. After helping create Agency Nation, an agent-focused media publication, and Elevate, the leading insurance agent conference on digital marketing, she’s now back in the startup world. Her work as Chief Marketing Officer for b atomic is focused on helping brokers leverage their data to create memorable customer experiences.

Pete Tessier is the founder and host of the Insurance Podcast. Pete has been in the industry for 17 years after joining the family insurance brokerage business. Prior to entering into the insurance industry Pete worked in corporate communications for London Drugs. Pete served on the IBAM board and was president from 2011-2012.
Pete served on the IBAC (Insurance Brokers Association of Canada) Board from 2012-2013 and prior to that he was on the national BIP (Broker Identity Program) sub committee from 2010-2012.
