CEO & President of CSIO
Catherine Smola is the President and CEO of CSIO (Centre for Study of Insurance Operations), Canada’s industry technology association of property and casualty (P&C) insurers, vendors, and over 43,000 brokers.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, she’s held a variety of regional and national leadership roles executing IT roadmaps and delivering operational excellence on both the insurer and broker side. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada (FCIP).
